Improving the ESP32 community ... what do YOU want?

Postby kolban » Sat Jan 14, 2017 9:26 pm

As the ESP32 improves day by day and we all start to learn more about it, the community of ESP32 users will continue to grow and flourish. What do you want from an ESP32 community?

First and foremost, we have this forum site. Obviously it must be of some use to you otherwise you wouldn't be reading this now. Are you happy with it? Do you feel comfortable asking questions? Are the answers quick enough, accurate enough and friendly enough?

Do you have interest in other community activities beyond this newsgroup? Have you tried chatting on the #ESP32 IRC channel?

Are there videos that you would like to see made covering technical topics? There are folks out there who love making videos but don't want to spend their time making videos no-one is interested in. Maybe you have ideas for videos that YOU would like to see covered.

Do you need tutorials or coverage of any areas beyond what is already documented?

If you have ideas for enhancements of the ESP32 community, feel free to shout out. There isn't anyone I know of who is tasked to create or manage an ESP32 community or community projects ... but ... then again ... isn't it one of the core natures of a community that we ourselves look to ask what we want and can do to assist each other?
