Re: How to use i2s in full-duplex mode

Hm, interesting as the hardware can run full-duplex... perhaps a limitation of the driver. I'm as surprised as you are. Using I2S for full-duplex audio data transfer to / from an external codec is an obvious necessity. But I didn't find any examples and no answers to the question how to use I2S in ...

Re: How to use i2s in full-duplex mode

Not sure where you got the idea that you need both I2S devices to get full-duplex... each of the two I2S peripherals is fully duplex by itself. https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/esp32/api-reference/peripherals/i2s.html "Each controller can operate in half-duplex communication mo...

How to use i2s in full-duplex mode

Hello. How to use i2s in full-duplex mode? I want to use ESP 32 with an external audio codec chip, but only manage to work in half-duplex mode. I tried a configuration with two i2cs, but the transfer on slave I2C 1 does not work. It is assumed that both I2S use the same connection lines to the audio...

MASE bug

1. I found an error in the MASE algorithm. When MASE amplifies the signal, the INT16 value overflow is ignored and significant signal distortion is obtained. The signal should not overflow when it reaches the upper and lower limits of the value but should simply be cut off. The image shows examples ...

In esp-idf v4.0-betta1, command idf.py partition_table not print partition table.
How can I print it?

Re: esp-idf 4.0 I can't use fatfs functions directly

The problem is partially solved. The problem was the insufficient size of the task stack. I don't understand why using FatFs functions requires a lot more memory than using VFS functions. If I use FatFs: FIL fa; FRESULT fres; fres = f_open(&fa,"hello.txt", FA_WRITE); if (fres != FR_OK) { printf("Fai...

Re: esp-idf 4.0 I can't use fatfs functions directly

Errors in the code of work with fatfs cannot be, since the same code successfully works on other microcontroller. The problem is in support direct use of fatfs functions in idf-esp 4.0 betta 1. Perhaps need to somewhere point to that will be used functions fatfs without VFS, perhaps this need to to ...

esp-idf 4.0 I can't use fatfs functions directly

I can't use fatfs functions directly, only C-style functions work. Meanwhile the documentation says I can use them ( https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/api-reference/storage/ ) For example, I tested code: Config: sdmmc_card_t* card; esp_vfs_fat_sdmmc_mount_config_t mount_config; s...

why the antenna is damaged of ESP32-WROOM32

The ESP-WROOM-32 module is installed on a Board of FR4 with a thickness of 0.5 mm. When installing, all the recommendations of the documentation were observed. There were cases of ignition of this module in the antenna area. Why is this happening and how to prevent it?
