Re: Eclipse (Windows) does not find headers in components

Here is the recipe I use for clean builds and editing in an Eclipse environment for C++ with ESP32.

Re: [Info]: Low level bluetooth debugging

Unfortunately I don't have any skills or knowledge in Bluedroid. I may have just been lucky, but so far, ive gotten away with simply using the exposed ESP-IDF layers without any great issues and all has so far worked as desired.

Re: How can device PCA9685

The PCA9685 appears to be a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller for 16 channels of output. It appears to be driven by an I2C bus.

There appears to be notes and an Arduino library available here:

Re: Error "wpa_crypto_funcs = g_wifi_default_wpa_crypto_funcs" initializer is not constant

Its not impossible that you have stumbled over some buggy code. Looking at the source files in Github, we see that those files were apparently committed only 3 weeks ago. You may want to test with a release build as opposed to "master" and see if the problem still manifests. Either way, th...

Re: Is it possible to compile code for ESP32 with Geany instead of Eclipse?

My gut says that it shouldn't be relatively difficult. The ESP-IDF supplies a very attractive build system. In principle, we could invoke the ESP-IDF make commands from within the Geany editor to do what you ask. For my curiosity, what is driving you to use Geany as opposed to Eclipse?

Re: FW load getting A fatal error occurred: Timed out waiting for packet header

Howdy Tom, thanks for the kind words. Its go to the stage now where we have good availability for ESP32 and a variety of boards sub $10 ... I'd suggest getting another board and seeing if the issue persists. There are obviously other considerations. For example, drivers on the PC and other bits and ...

Can we run the ESP32 on 2x AA batteries

Howdy folks, My electronics skills are poor and this may be a silly question.... Can we run an ESP32 on two AA batteries? What is giving me pause is that I think the ESP32 needs 3.3V while if an AA battery is only 1.5V then 2x would be 3.0V and not 3.3V. Obviously there may be other reasons beyond t...

Re: very slow connecting when esp is an access point

Can you describe more about the nature of your listening application that you have coded to run on the ESP32 that is listening on the telnet port? Maybe pastebin the code? What is the nature of the machine on which you are running your telnet client? Are you able to run wireshark to examine the netw...
