I haven't used any adapter yet. I am using ESP32-DEVKITC-32UE with USB cable only.

Do I need to use the ESP-PROG for Eclipse debugging? Can you provide more instructions on this?

Seems that the serial port is not accessible for the user, maybe another application is using it ? Make sure ESP-IDF monitor is not running and you closed the terminal from previous flash task.
