Re: Dual core

It depends on how you want to architect your application. There are a few things to take into account: 1. the cost (CPU-wise) to create and delete a task, 2. the total memory usage of your app, 3. the risk you want to take wrt 'over-booking' your RAM. For 1, it's pretty simple. FreeRTOS lives under...

Re: WiFi AP disappeared suddenly while using HTTP Server

Hi Espressif Developer, We had tried to reproduce WiFi AP disappeared issue with ESP32 IDF 3.0 RC1 and not able to reproduce yet. So, I had tried to compare changes into ESP32 IDF 3.0 w.r.t. ESP32 IDF 2.1 and found lots of changes as per release note. So, we can not isolate what change was affecting...

Re: Dual core

Theoretically, you could create a task and destroy it every time you want to update the display, but indeed, this is not very efficient. cmorgan wrote:@Ritesh, would you mind providing the output of your 'make size-components'? I'm interested in the overhead in terms of size of a nghttpd server to compare against the httpd server I'm more familiar with, libesphttpd.

Ok. Will send details w.r.t. component size tomorrow morning

Re: Need help for HTTP Client Porting

Just wondering if you built server based on nghttp2 and package it as reusable component Yes. We already used nghttpd2 as server and able to serve HTTP GET/POST/PUT/DELETE using parser. Now, we need to implement client instead of server for that. Please send me some reference links or informations ...

Can you publish your nghttp2 server component?

Means, do you need nghttp2 component which we are using?

Or Application code with parser which we are using?
