Re: Getting extra byte 0xFF while configuring UART

Hi,

Please let me know if anyone has faced this type of issue while configuring UART with which another any module is connected over UART.

I have tried to look definition of "gpio_matrix_out(tx_io_num, tx_sig, 0, 0);" but not found it.

Re: Getting extra byte 0xFF while configuring UART

Hi, Also the issue i am getting is random means sometimes I am getting garbage 0xFF as first byte randomly. So, The issue is in GPIO Matrix Output configurations which might cause this type of issue. I have tried it with PULLUP and PULLDOWN configurations for that TX PIN but still issue remains same...

Re: Getting extra byte 0xFF while configuring UART

Hi, Sorry for late post. We have tried with uart_flush(uart_num) solution but it creates problem while re-configuring UART in existing running system like getting all bytes as garbage data while sending proper data. So, It means that solution is not proper to consider for actual product. Again, I ha...

Hi,

Thanks for quick reply.

I will check that stuff and will get back to you if need any help for that.

Re: ESP32 firmware update over the internet?

this is used only locally isn't it? The concept of OTA isn't restricted to local update. It could be also on the Extranet, depending of your network infrastucture. If ESP is fetching the firmware binary from a cloud server, this is pretty straight forward. If you wish to push the firmware binary fr...

Re: Need help to understand RF Calibration init data management and it's process for ESP32

Does anyone has any idea how RF PHY calibration is working with its different configurations? I need to understand it in details from both software and hardware perspective.

Please provide me document link or any other reference link to understand it in details.

Re: RTC

The datasheet says that RTC peripherals are powered down in hibernation mode. RTC controller is always powered up, and it includes RTC timer and one of the two GPIO wakeup sources (ext1). Regarding external RTC chip support, no we don't have plans for adding such drivers to ESP-IDF. Thanks for upda...

Re: RTC

RTC is powered up in all configurations mode like Active, Modem-Sleep, Light-Sleep and Deep-Sleep mode except Hibernate Mode. RTC timer is powered up in "hibernate mode" as well. or is there any way to get support of external RTC into ESP32? If by an "external RTC" you mean an R...

Re: Need sample code for ILI9488 LCD on SPI Interface

Hi Loboris, We are facing one issue while using your SPI LCD based Repository. We have used it till now and it was working fine without any issue. But, We have some below requirements like 6 GPIO based Interrupts, one debug UART as UART0 + one extra UART UART1 to connect with another controller and ...
