Okay, what does "xtensa-esp32-elf-ar t libfreertos.a" say for the unsuccessful build? Any files missing compared to the successful one?

Re: Compatibility between "normal CMake" and ESP-IDF

When the error happens, can you run xtensa-esp32-elf-nm on libfreertos.a and check if the functions reported in the error message are present in the archive?

Re: Fatfs delay at write at new sector

Re: another odd Guru Meditation Error

LoadProhibited, EXCVADDR: 0x00000010 tells that the code has likely tried to access a member of a structure at offset 0x10, but the pointer to the structure was NULL. If you use idf_monitor ("make monitor" with Make build system, "idf.py monitor" with CMake), then the backtrace will automatically be...

Re: gdbinit: No such file or directory

So then the GDB argument would be "-x gdbinit.cfg", right?

Re: gdbinit: No such file or directory

Do you have a "gdbinit" file in the directory where you are running GDB from?

Re: Sysview tracing both cores

By default, sysview tracing example sets FreeRTOS I to single core mode. You can change that in menuconfig, under Component Config / FreeRTOS. Then rebuild and flash the application. Once you do that, it should work. Keep in mind that SystemView GUI can not show traces from both cores at the same ti...
