Re: Using timer AND external interrupt to wake up from deep sleep mode.

Not working: (timer and external interrup). esp_sleep_enable_timer_wakeup(3600000000); esp_sleep_enable_ext0_wakeup(GPIO_NUM_33,1); esp_deep_sleep_start(); How exactly it does not work ? I'm using it all the time, also mixed with ext1 wake up and wake stub and it works as expected. I'm not using Ar...

Re: Non DMA version of the spi_master driver

Only the restitive touch (XPT2046 controllers) is supported in this example. BTW, this is a very old example. I'm now using a different approach for non-DMA transfers using the slightly modified official esp-idf spi-master driver. I hope I'll find some time to update the repository or create the new...

Re: MicroPython on ESP32 with SPIRAM support

There are many ways to comunicate with a thread and to end it. I would recommend to study the threads Wiki page and thread example.

A better place to discuss questions like this may be this forum.

Re: PCB design with esp32

... Yes, it can, but this is a switching power supply, which is not the most recommended thing to supply power to a microcontroller I've been using various switching regulators with various microcontrollers (also with ESP32) both for proffessional and hobby projects for years and had no problems. I...

Re: ESP32 Bluetooth SPP with bidirectional communication (send and receive)

You just have to combine receiving and sending, like in this simple example based on example_spp_acceptor_demo.c /* This example code is in the Public Domain (or CC0 licensed, at your option.) Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, this software is distributed on an "AS IS&q...

Re: mcpwm peripheral issues

You can also use LEDC peripheral to generate PWM output up to 20 MHz (40MHz with duty cycle of 50%).
Tested and works very well.

Re: Factory app update from MicroSD

The purporse of two partitions (at least) is that you can be shure that you will have at least one working partition in case something goes wrong during the update (which may happen). Even if updating the running partition could be possible, it could easily make the system unbootable if anything goe...

Re: ESP32 TFT display library

The ILI4988 is actually 16bit color. Even if you send color in 24 bit mode, it will ignore the lower 3bits of red and blue and the lower 2bits of green. It is in the datasheet, but don't remember where exactly. This is not true. Look at Data sheet page 122. http://loboris.eu/ESP32/ILI9488_SPI_18bpp...
