Hi there, I've an issue with my chip too. It is an esp8266 | ESP-01 chip I managed to flash nodemcu onto it and it booted up fine. But when I flashed arduino ide program onto it, it crashed constantly. Other ESP-01 chips worked well. After changing the mode to DOUT, it worked for this 'faulty' chip....
