Re: JTAG used IOs, how could utilize them when don’t debug?

Thank you for quick responding. For my current project I don’t use any PWM. Just I’m short of IOs and had to sacrifice couple indication LEDs in order to preserve JTAG dedicated IOs intact, but my hope was that there is already some study what “redundant” components (impedance, capacitance etc.) are...

JTAG used IOs, how could utilize them when don’t debug?

JTAG interface on ESP32 uses IO12,13,14 and 15. How can utilize easiest way those IOs when don’t debug? Is there some data for minimum impedance that attached components to those IOs need to have so when debugging/using JTAG not to jeopardize JTAG communications? Also Is there a way to distinguish i...

ESP32-S2 is PDM mode supported?

In ESP32 datasheet section 4.1.12 I²S Interface is mentioned "PDM and BT PCM interfaces are supported", but ESP32-S2 there is NO such information, so I'm wondering if PDM mode is supported in S2? I'll try to hook a PDM microphone if possible?
Thanks

Re: Small ESP32 Modul ( all include in new ESP32-PICO )

TTGO Micro-32 Unfortunately doesn't have any certifications, so is good only for hobby brewery,

Plus looks bigger in size than Espressif's Engineering sample with the 3D antenna ;)

Re: Small ESP32 Modul ( all include in new ESP32-PICO )

Hi Rudi,
The picture of the module you've posted:
small Pico D4 Board with Proant 440 ( espressif's engineering example): ESP32_PicoD4_Board_with_Proant440.jpg -
is this a module that will be available soon on the market?
Thanks

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

BTW - do you intent to continue the approach you took with ESP32-S2 and make ESP32-B2 :) or sort of - ESP32 with BT only (without WiFi)?
What are the plans regarding new versions of Bluetooth implementation?
Thanks

Re: DevkitC v4 app start problem when externaly powered?

Ok, finally found time to play back with this board: Problem solved thanks to krzychb! Thanks! So the problem was this capacitor C15 that is soldered parallel to BOOT button (I0). Of course I tried first all the possible variants with the groundings without any particular result. And by the way - th...

Any new certified modules coming soon?

Could you share some insider info if some new modules with form factor like TTGO Micro-32 (~ 13x19mm) coming soon? Micro-32 unfortunately doesnt come with any reliable information and CAD files, and seems it doesnt have any certifications too. And manufacturer dont bother to answer any questions reg...

Re: DevkitC v4 app start problem when externaly powered?

Sorry, I just realised I've provided wrong information in my initial post (already correct it) : The actual button that I need to press in order to start code running on DevkitC v4 when is externally powered is "EN"
