Re: Question regarding core usage on the esp32 with Arduino esp-now example

Uses the ESP-NOW protocol on the 2.4 GHz radio This process runs as a task created on core 1 core 1 is the UI processor. Maintains the M5Stack LCD menu Runs Arduino setup() an...

Re: Esp32 and audio (text to speech)

If talkie for Arduino works for you you can try
https://github.com/bobh/ESP32Talkie
Output is on a DAC pin.

Re: ESP32 Development Board with 3.3v in and USB

I read this: “Above options are mutually exclusive, i.e. the power supply may be provided using only one of the above options. Attempt to power the board using more than one connection at a time may damage the board and/or the power supply source.” From: https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/e...

Re: FT81X shield for ESP32 DevKitC

To inhibit the voltage I layout jumper pins directly in front of the devC board usb connector with a tall jumper :D . The jumper physically prevents inserting a usb cable but connects internal power when installed. Remove for development. If that is what that rpi circuit is for. https://www.digikey....

Re: Custom PCB's, how far do you go?

I just identify the new or risky part of a design, breadboard that, then go straight to a board. This was a switching regulator module on the boards out for fab now. I’m sort of in transition. I use the biggest module now whenever possible. Instead of a ESP32-Wroom module I use a complete DevkitC. I...

Re: FreeRTOS alternatives

Any update?
Not on the RIOT boards list.
http://doc.riot-os.org/group__boards.html

I’m going to learn this OS on an Adafruit m0 board but would like to switch to an ESP32 at some point.
