Re: crude idea for log storage/retrieval

Good idea; logging is necessary for support-ability. Depending upon what you see in the bursts of log entries it might help keep a more complete history if duplicates of the last entry were simply added to a counter of the last entry. It might prevent the wrap around of the log for bursts of duplica...

Re: RMT Implmentation - HELP!!!

I went looking for examples of rmt and arduino (google esp32 arduino rmt example) There seems to be a lot written about that. Can you narrow down what you need that is not addressed in the above or in https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/api-reference/peripherals/rmt.html Tom Meyers

Re: Send picture over gprs, smtp, softwareSerial, received damaged!!?

I saw one posting: "Hi, i am trying to send an email with a jpg picture using sim800L. I can send everything but i cant read the received picture. after analyzing the original one i found that the received picture always has before a 0x0A byte, a 0x0D byte. Example: original byte sequence: 0x0A, 0xB...

Re: MQTT: Wildcard support

One other suggestion:

My MQTT broker (mosquitto) gives me some tools for debug and monitor:

I can start the broker with verbose logging and see all kinds of events

There is a generic subscriber

There is a generic publisher.

Good tools for an MQTT developer.

Re: MQTT: Wildcard support

I have a feeling that the OP is publishing a wildcard not subscribing with a wildcard. OP what do you say. Sorry if I am wrong.

Re: Can I use a keyboard with an ESP32 ? Or a keypad ?

If it has a serial interface you can read key presses from it.

Note which is Tx on the KB, note the baudrate, etc.

Do you have pinouts for the KB or a schematic.

What are the voltage levels presented and accepted

Does it respond to any commands on RX are there any config switches

Re: Can I use a keyboard with an ESP32 ? Or a keypad ?

Did you Google:

For example: "sparkfun.com 4x4 keypad"

... or banggood or amaon or "arduino keypad"

Re: Can I use a keyboard with an ESP32 ? Or a keypad ?

First, it is not difficult because there are so many examples of code and wiring and so many keypads available.

For example: "sparkfun.com 4x4 keypad"

Take a look at that first then use the search terms you see to google more or banggood or amaon or "arduino keypad"

Re: Smooth an Array of Analog Values and Print them

It looks like an unweighted rolling average. All good. Is that correct?

Each type has different natures.
