Re: Wifi Authentication not working

I dont think there is anything to resolve. Esp32 will connect to most secure ap available, this is the proper design. User can implement scan, filter, sort, connect to selected ap via bssid if they have custom requirements. Thanks. Do you have any reference example for same? if yes then can you ple...

Re: Wifi Authentication not working

Hi Ritesh, I don't want to connect to specific AP so no need to set BSSID. I am setting "bssid_set" parameter to false. the issue is still there. but its esp-idf handling as given in esp_wifi_types.h file. Hello, So what is your plan of action now to resolve this issue? or still looking for solutio...

No clue. If you think this is a good feature to have, I'd suggest posting it as a feature request in a Github issue. I can't comment on any timelines, though.
Thanks ESP_Sprite for your prompt response.

We will post issue over Github for same.

Re: want websocket client standalone code

As I said: Sorry, ESP-IDF 2.1 is past the date where we support it. Hello ESP_Sprite, Is it possible to port into ESP32 IDF 3.2? or need to port into ESP32 IDF 3.3 LTS or later version? Would you please check from your end and let us know so that we will spend time according to that to move further...

Ok so you are setting the threshold. It will still choose the most secure AP available. If you want to connect to a specific AP set BSSID.
Ok. thanks.

Re: want websocket client standalone code

Sorry, ESP-IDF 2.1 is past the date where we support it. Suggest you upgrade to e.g. esp-idf 3.3, which is our current LTS release. Alternately, you can try backporting the websockets example yourself, but we do not advise this. Hello ESP_Sprite, I agree that websocket example is being supported in...

Re: Sending data from board to laptop over WiFi

Morning! I'm new to networking stuff and this time it seems like I'm not good at googling it, so maybe you can help: I have two ESP32 boards - one is a WiFi AP, the other one is connected to it. Both are connected via UDP, one generates data, sends it to the other one and there it gets saved in a f...

Re: Can't change the baud rate for flashing the ESP32 in eclipse

Hello,

Go to menuconfig of ESP32 flash operation in which you can find baudrate, flash size along with other parameter selections from which you can change it as per requirements.

Still let me know if you find any difficulties for that.
