Thanks ESP_Sprite, so as I guessed there is no easy way out (lazy me) . Thus I have already ordered some JTAG connectors.
OpenOCD debuggger is best option for that.

Re: Pin interrupt only running once?

Hi, I have GPIO17 set as an input interrupt pin with pullup/down disabled, and I'm using an external pullup resistor. This is connected to an optosiolator (LTV-844). I'm feeding the optoisolater a 60Hz test signal, so I should be getting interrupts at 120Hz. However, the interrupt seems to only run...

Re: Initializing NVS on a large partition

Large nvs partition does indeed use a lot of heap. Is there a way to force the heap allocation to use external SPI RAM? SPIFFS is very slow when it comes to read speed if the partition is >2M, and getting a file written successfully is becoming less and less reliable when the capacity usage is 50% ...

Hello, I am currently on ESP-IDF v4.0-dev-1346-g1b6010bed-dirty okay, thanks very much for your suggestion! I will try looking into the RMT components and search for examples based on this to start with... Thanks.. Let me know if need any help for RMT interface as we have already used it. Hello, I ...

Re: How to Detect Frequency (LED Status)

Hello, I am just starting out with ESP32 and am looking for example code for detecting frequency on GPIOs. My ultimate goal is to be able to detect the state of (4) LEDs with possible states of: ON (not blinking), OFF, 1 Hz, 2 Hz, 5 Hz -- basically detect the status and print to screen or collect t...

Re: i2c master aborts write

After trying to distract me with other work I had to come back to the problem and got it running by now. I think the main problem was timing. Also, the master seems to stop working once it tried to read without the slave having sent anything. One big issue I found was, that I had the ground connect...

Re: Any similar Librarys like IRremote in ESP IDF interface

Hi, I believe that you can't use Arduini based library directly into ESP32 IDF still you can confirm with SDK developers. Thank you @Ritesh for the replay I was able to use IRremote library in ESP IDF interface using 'Arduino over ESP IDF' https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/blob/master/docs...

Re: Need help to start WiFi, EThernet, BT and GSM Interfaces in parallel as per requirement

Hi, Right now, We are developing GSM based component for our product which is PPP based component and we have successfully verified it with multiple test-cases. So, I have also looked into LWIP component and found support for PPPoS as well for PPP COMMUNICATION over GSM. So, I am just worried about...

Re: Modbus on UART0

Hello ESP experts. I have tested the modbus slave example with Uart2 and everything works fine. However I need to use Uart0 instead. I have changed the console port to uart1 and changed modbus port to uart0. Even though the console is now successfully moved to uart1, but modbus doesn't work on uart...
