Re: Dialogflow gRPC Support

Hello ESP_Hrishi,

Do you have any further update regarding this as there are few people are also demanding to use it?

Let us know if you have any update regarding this.

Re: Problems Installing ESP-IDF Tools Installer

This is completely unrelated to the requirements.txt file... The issue is due to spaces in the path where IDF Tools are installed. It was fixed in this commit: https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/commit/aaf3dcbda01e8c22da88184922465155441cd20a, however we haven't released the new installer with th...

Re: Problems Installing ESP-IDF Tools Installer

I'm trying to use esp-idf-v3.3 What's requiriments? I'm justo following this guide https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/get-started/windows-setup.html. It just says I need a 64bit windows. There is one requirements text file will be present after cloning ESP32 IDF which you have ev...

Re: Burn ELF to ESP32

Hi, I want to create an automated firmware update via the USB cable. I have a Python script that connects to my ESP serial port. The ESP will send its app_elf_sha256 and Python compares it with the one that a specific .elf file has. If it is different, it means that there should be an update. The p...

Re: Problems Installing ESP-IDF Tools Installer

Hello everyone. I have always programmed esp32 using the arduino IDE. But recently I'm thinking of using some more advanced functions that Arduino doesn't allow me yet. I started by following a guide provided by Espressif (https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/get-started/windows-se...

Re: What's the proper way to enable FreeRTOS automatic light sleep?

Hello, Which ESP32 IDF you are using? Also can you please check using tasklist function like which task is running and which task is on waiting stage or something like that? So that you will get an idea like how many tasks are really running to accommodate your requirement for sleep mode. If possibl...

Re: How to Detect Frequency (LED Status)

Hello, I wanted to ask if you are familiar with the Pulse Counter? I plan to modify an example from Espressif so that I can use it for detecting the frequency on GPIOs. I am just a bit confused on how to expand on it so that it works with multiple GPIOs; this is the example from Espressif that I am...

Thanks ESP_Sprite, so as I guessed there is no easy way out (lazy me) . Thus I have already ordered some JTAG connectors.
OpenOCD debuggger is best option for that.

Re: Pin interrupt only running once?

Hi, I have GPIO17 set as an input interrupt pin with pullup/down disabled, and I'm using an external pullup resistor. This is connected to an optosiolator (LTV-844). I'm feeding the optoisolater a 60Hz test signal, so I should be getting interrupts at 120Hz. However, the interrupt seems to only run...

Re: Initializing NVS on a large partition

Large nvs partition does indeed use a lot of heap. Is there a way to force the heap allocation to use external SPI RAM? SPIFFS is very slow when it comes to read speed if the partition is >2M, and getting a file written successfully is becoming less and less reliable when the capacity usage is 50% ...
