Of course, this is a basic function. But for TLS 1.2 we have to wait and see if they upgrade SSL/TLS library to hopefully use mbedtls.

Hmm sounds like still lots of work to do. Please don't buy some restrictive license stack. We need full open source at least above hci layer.

Where does it say anything about homekit? There is really no point in thinking about homekit until you get mfi approved by apple and ask them what hardware platforms are homekit certified.

Wipy is the older board based on cc3200.

Lopy is the new board based on esp32 + sx1272.

Yes it is maybe off topic, bit I think it is OK to learn about everything and compare things to esp32. Anyway, ameba platform seems like it might be interesting for hydrabus port.
