Re: ESP32 SRAM examples

the current chip revision has a bug causing some reads of it to act up. We're preparing a new revision with that bug fixed, it should be on the market in two to three months. To clarify is this a software/firmware issue or silicon issue? Sounds like silicon. Maybe they can also take this opportunit...

Approx how many devices will be affected and what will be the code for the new rev? Will be hard to tell if under a module shield.

Re: Status of ESP32 WROOM Module

Is there any difference between the WROOM32 and ESP3212 mechanical design and pinout? They appear to be very similar. ESP3212 has a different pinout, however Ai-Thinker is now also making the ESP32S. When I asked Ai-Thinker they told me the ESP32S is the same as the Espressif ESP-WROOM32. Sprite ma...

Re: How to use gpio_isr_register?

Read technical reference manual about interrupt matrix. Interrupt matrix maps peripheral interrupts (table 6) to CPU interrupts (table 7). CPU interrupts have one interrupt handler function, so you have to pick and choose which sources will trigger the same interrupt number and thus share a handler ...

Re: DevKitC - How much current can we source from 5V pin?

Depends on what is the USB power source. For a PC port probably 500mA total, shared with 3.3v LDO. Looks like HC-SR04 only uses <20mA, so should be OK. Might need some additional decoupling caps? Might need 3.3v to 5v level shifting?

Re: Zephyr support for ESP32

I've been noticing there is a lot of support developing around zephyr. Lots of developments from all kinds projects/companies/communities. Might be the place to be.

Re: Status of ESP32 WROOM Module

We just got a pretty big batch of ESP32s, so I expect the WROOM32 to be in store pretty quickly.
