Are you sure there is no delay on the sender side? Check with Wireshark?

They should be free but they are 1.8v gpios so you might be Browning out the sdio 1.8v internal regulator by driving a buzzer

It means primary channel 1 secondary channel 0 (none). 2c0 might give some useful info but I don't know what it means.

If you have a high volume commercial application and you go through official b2b channels (sales@espressif.com) you should get better support. Also it is a holiday in China now.

The S2 data sheet suggests (section 2.4.2) that pins < IO7 are more commonly used.
That's not what it means, it is talking about the bit lines of the spi interface not the gpios.

ESP32-WROVER-E is newer. Same footprint, pinout doesnt have gpio6-11, 3.3v flash/psram and esp32 rev3 chip. Read the datasheets.
