I dont know if this will help, because im not using this tool to flash, but you are trying to flash esp-at.bin @ 0x100000 but you have set flash size 8Mbit. The other thing is you seems to have some efuses burned already. This may cause esp32 not flashable anymore, but i may be wrong.

Hi.
Its because there is difference between latest version and latest released version. Latest version is current version that dev team is working on (its version 3.0-pre release), and the latest release version is latest stable version.

When you write to I2C all but last one byte need to be acknowledged. Since you are trying to write just one byte you need to send it with NACK_VAL:

On this diagram you are asking about Single byte read/ master. As you can see, before you can read from device you HAVE to send start + slave device address with write byte + register address you want to read.
