Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
This matches our PCB design as well, which is good because it's being assembled now.

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Thanks. Can you confirm my interpretation is correct, ie. pins are counter-clockwise and start on the long side?

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Numbering is always counter-clockwise, so I think we have to assume the pinout diagram is off by 90 degrees...

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Exactly, it seems the QFN 5x5 has a mistake in the datasheet. The mechanical drawing matches the physical part, so that would mean pin 1-10 are where the current pinout drawing has pins 11-20. Can someone from Espressif confirm?

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Right, but I have actual parts and they match the diagram that would indicate it's on the 14-pin side. That is the problem.

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Hi Rudi, Yes, it's 16Mb = 2MB. Yes, available in small quantities from sales. Yes I have 300 in front of me. Just preparing to re-spin board due to this issue. I don't think the pinout diagram showing the numbers is correct. I can't get a good picture with my phone, unfortunately. Nor can I really r...

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Ok, so now there is another issue with the latest manual:
I can confirm from inspecting the part that it matches the first diagram. The question then is, is the second diagram wrong, and therefore are pins 1-14 on the long side?

Re: ESP32 Pin Layout (for QFN 5*5), Pin25, Pin26
Yes, plus it has built-in 2MB? flash in D2 configuration, so it's more secure and much smaller overall.

Glad I caught this update ... gerbers went out last night and I was able to stop them and adjust this afternoon.

I'm sorry, the SAME?! Exactly?
