Code upload using RX-TX pins to Adafruit ESP32 HUZZAH

Is it possible to upload code from Arduino IDE into the Adafruit ESP32 Huzzah board using the onboard RX-TX pins and USB-TTL converter ? I tried making the connections but the board is not getting detected.
