I would like to get some information about the linker file like what its name, where it can be found, and also how to change it.
I specially need to know how to create an program image of say 256Kbyte (or 512Kbyte) where the unused bytes at the end are filled with 0xFF. This is for the purpose of checking the SHA256 of such image to detect any tampering of the software installed at the ESP.
Also some extra information of the .map file would be useful, like the starting and end addresses and the values assigned for CODE and DATA spaces.
The .map file currently being generated on my project is about 4Mbytes making any search quite difficult.
