switching python version on install.sh, ubuntu 16.04

Postby xenpac » Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:30 am

i have ubuntu 16.04 which has python 2.7.2 as default.
additionally i installed python 3.5.

however the default python is still 2.7.2 (/usr/bin/python)

to use the 3.5 i have to explicitly type: python3.5 to use it.

The esp-idf install.sh always picks the 2.7.2 version.

Is there a way to give install.sh a parameter to use a different installed python version?
