BT Classic - closing a connection.

Hi there,
I am trying to understand how to close a connection with a client device when using BT classic.

I am using BT classic GAP and A2DP (esp32 as sink) profiles, and could only find one function to close an a2dp connection:
esp_a2d_sink_disconnect()

Are there additional functions that must be called to close a connection with a client device? I can see that there is functionality for this in BLE API, but cannot find anything similar for BT Classic.
