Short two GPIO pins by software

Postby jojojijijojo » Mon May 10, 2021 1:23 pm

Hi,
I made a mistake of using GPIO36 as an LED output driver on my boards, and I'm currently looking for ways to fix it.
The obvious method is to solder a jumper wire between GPIO36 and some other output pin.
However Im looking for a more elegant and easier method.
Is there a way to route (short) GPIO 14 for example to GPIO36 so that the output voltage signal from GPIO14 gets router to GPIO36 and eventually drive the LED indirectly?
Please tell me this is possible, my soldering skills are horrible

GPIO36 is output-only; there is no physical hardware in the chip to output any level on it. I'm afraid it's time to heat up your soldering iron...
