Using ESP-IDF Can't able to put the KSZ8851SNL to the low power mode.

Hi Guys,

I am using the KSZ8851SNL-TR ethernet controller with the esp32s3 and enabled it using esp-idf 5.1.1.
I can detect ethernet events for the same with the default configuration on the esp32 side.

I want to put the KSZ8851SNL-TR module into the low power mode(Energy Detect Mode) and for that, I am not finding APIs in esp-idf KSZ8851 ethernet components.

I have tried to read/write the register values after modifying a portion of the code in the KSZ8851 ethernet module but it did not work.

I verified the measuring current for the same and below are my observations.

In Normal Mode:
Ethernet Enabled and Ethernet Cable unplugged - 89mA
Ethernet Enabled and Ethernet Cable plugged - 137mA

In Energy Detect Mode
Ethernet Enabled and Ethernet Cable unplugged - 89mA
Ethernet Enabled and Ethernet Cable plugged - 137mA

Does esp-idf support the low-power mode functionality for the KSZ8851 ethernet module?

Can you please look into this and guide us as soon as possible we are in a production phase right now.

Also, we are available to take debug calls to get a resolution as early as possible.
We are available from IST 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
