How to configure the ESP32C6 USB pins as DIO12/13?

My board has a connector normally used for the USB port. However, I'm connecting a modem that has a UART so I want to route a UART to DIO12 and 13, where the USB is. I cannot find anything in the forums or documentation anywhere. I've tried burning the DIS_USB_JTAG and resetting the gpios without success. Help!
