BLE Bluetooth Server just stopped working

I was using the sample BLE Bluetooth Server Code found in Arduino - all works really well. I then used the ESP32 Download Tools and pressed the ERASE button. Now, the Arduino program compiles and runs OK, however, the Bluetooth Software no longer works. If I plug in a new/different ESP32 Development board and download the same software/compile/run, the Bluetooth Software works great. Does the ERASE button remove Bluetooth software? Do I need to do anything to "rebuild" the firmware inside of the ESP32 unit after an ERASE?
