ESP32WROOM32-DEVKIT C V4 Definitive pin connections

Postby johnlerrington » Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:42 am

I've just started experimenting with the ESP32WROOM32-DEVKIT C V4.

I've searched images and the espressif site but I cant find a "definitive" pin connection diagram, and I'm not sure some I've found online are correct - particularly in regard to pwm pins.

I'm writing a web page abut my experiments so I'd like to put a link to the "approved" pin diagram.

Can anyone provide a link I can use please?

Picture 6 in the link you provided is the pinout of the module, so what are you looking for ?

Thanks Agree007; I'm just getting confused I guess because the ESP32 DEVKIT is made by different manufacturers as you said but there doesnt seem to be a standard configuration. I've been using this diagram
https://www.flickr.com/photos/jgustavoam/40089095211
which gives a LOT more info than on the ebay link; but doesnt look exactly like my board.

But THIS board is different - it has mounting holes, & GPIO 6,7,8,9,10,11 are not exposed.

and this one is a great resource - but the pin layout is different to both the above.
https://randomnerdtutorials.com/esp32-p ... nce-gpios/

and the info for this board does at least say "There are different variations of these development boards available. They offer similar capabilities but with different pinout configuration."

I guess you just have to be careful to get the right board.
