ESP32 as WIFI device in spi slave mode

Postby kiran57 » Tue Jun 26, 2018 6:49 am

Hi All,

I have bought ESP-WROOM-32 module recently and i wanted to use it for wi-fi operations.

I am trying to use Atmel microcontroller as SPI master and ESP32 as SPI slave mode,
Atmel should take care of switching ESP32 from AP mode to STA mode, Establishing wifi connection creating TCP/UDP connection and data exchange between wifi connected devices.

Please share procedure or some examples on how to proceed further.

Regards,
Kiran

Hi, we need your support on ESP32 WiFi module. We have successfully established SPI communication between ESP32 DevKit and Atmel Micro-controller. But facing issues in receiving "ready" data from ESP32 kit.

We have an example HSPI code where its using different communication format like "Sending "succ_flag - 'C' " and expecting response from Master and sending length of data and then data frame. Could you please share the SPI Communication Protocol document if its available.
Also could you share the example source code of Master(Host) communication with Slave (ESP32) via SPI.

Regards,
Kiran
