Combining esp32 and esp8266 in esp-mesh

Hi,
I want to ask if is is possible
1. combine esp32 and esp8266 in the same mesh network and extend network
2. OTA update. I have 2 kind of devices in mesh - main nodes and helping nodes. I can update them all with OTA update but can I update ESP32 and after that update ESP8266 like 2 files and firstly update esp32 and than esp8266 is it possible?
