ESP32 - Azure sdk c and LTE ( cat m1)

Hi all,
is there a way to integrate a LTE ( cat - m1) module like sim7000E to esp32 and use azure sdk to establish communication with azure cloud?
the AT commands method is a bit painful, especially authentication and sas token n stuff.
i can't use wifi for internet connection, it has to be LTE.
Please help.
